Kaikala Satyanarayana - The Legend from Cinema's Golden Era

Kaikala Satyanarayana passed away today at the age of 87. He is one of the legendary actors from the golden era of the Tollywood

Satyanarayana was born on 25 July 1935 to Kaikala Laxmi Narayana from Kavutaram village in Krishna District

He was first offered a role in Sipayi Koothuru directed by Changayya in 1959. 

He was later found as a fit dupe to N.T Rama Rao senior and seen as his dupe in several films

His breakthrough was through a negative role in Kanaka Durga Pooja Mahima and later went on to get casted in Kodama Simham (1990), Bangaru Kutumbam (1994), and Muddula Mogudu (1997)

He acted in 750 films in his vast career. In 2012, he served as the jury member for South Region II at the 59th National Film awards

 1996, he stepped into politics winning an MP seat from Machilipatnam as a TDP member

He was honoured with life lifetime achievement award in Filmfare awards, 2017 and has two Nandi awards to his name

Satya Narayana was married in 1960 and he has two sons and two daughters
