Sensational hero Vijay Devarakonda is back in the news again, nearly three weeks after the release of his latest movie “Family Star” which is now being streamed on Amazon Prime. However, the scene that was brutally trolled by Telugu fans during the release of the film, is now getting trolled once again, this time by fans from other languages.
The availability of Family Star in Telugu and Tamil versions lead to many Kollywood fans catching up with the film. Apparently, they got shocked by the scene where Devarakonda goes to a goon (Ravibabu) and warns him of dire consequences and a rape threat to the woman in his family. Though Ravibabu’s character initially forces a woman from the hero’s family to come and sleep with him for her husband not being able to pay off a debt, the hero’s response in a similar tone and language is not good to hear, say Tamil audience.
While some are taking a dig at the scene, some Tamil fans are asking if the original version also has the same dialogues or if they have added that creativity in the Tamil version only. Upon coming to know that the ‘rape threat’ dialogues are there in the Telugu version as well, they are calling this a regressive scene ever done by Devarakonda.
