Had Fears Of Comparisons With Dad’s AOA: Naresh

Allari Naresh’s hilarious family entertainer Aa Okkati Adakku deals with a Pan India problem of marriage. Importantly, Naresh will be seen in an out-and-out entertainer for a long time. Interestingly, Allari Naresh appeared as a child artist in his dad EVV Satyanarayana’s classic Aa Okkati Adakku.

“I went to Vizag for summer holidays when my father was shooting Aa Okkati Adakku in the city. I didn’t know much, but as dad asked, I acted in the movie. Later, I got into movies. Making a film with the same title today felt like a full circle. Although this movie has no connection with Dad’s movie, I had fears of comparisons. In fact, Aa Okkati Adakku is an apt title for this movie.”

Naresh says he instantly connected when director Malli Ankam narrated the story. “This story is prepared taking inspiration from many real-life events. The story is original. There is a good message in the comedy as well. The way kind of scams around marriage shown in the movie makes the audience think. Malli has written this story remarkably. Abburi Ravi’s dialogues are a big plus. The comedy and emotion are brilliantly written.”

The movie is due for release in a couple of days on May 3rd.
