Mahesh Producers Bounce Back!

Mahesh Producers Bounce Back!

After tasting two duds One Nenokkadine and Aagadu, 14 Reels Entertainment bounced back with its latest offing Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha, as the film releasing tomorrow, made table profit prior to its release. Thanks to meticulous planning of producers Ram Achanta, Gopi Achanta and Anil Sunkara, KVPG brought cheers on their faces. This time, apparently, they make sure that they won't repeat their previous mistakes - cost overrun.

Made in a budget of around Rs 10.5 Crore, KVPG's theatrical rights (excluding overseas) were sold outright to Abhishek Pictures for Rs 15 Crore. In addition to this, the film's satellite rights fetched them over Rs 4 Crore. Gemini TV has paid this fancy price to bought the TV telecast rights.

This is not all. The producers have intelligently retained the overseas rights of the film with them. Given that Nani's previous film Bhale Bhale Magadivoy is big hit in US and became money spinner there, 14 Reels is releasing the film in overseas on their own.

Considering all this, looks like producers are going to get double their investment. Needless to say that Mahesh producers are laughing all the way to the banks.
