If reports are anything to go by, Anushka Shetty's overweight said to had increased the cost of Baahubali. Since a few portion of Baahubali: The Conclusion was shot earlier along with the first part i.e Baahubali: The Beginning when Anushka was looking quite lean, director SS Rajamouli was recently under tricky situation during the making of Baahubali 2 when he realised there's a great difference in Anushka from part 1 to part 2. It's then apparently Rajamouli decided to go for a reshoot for the portion he had shot during the part 1.
Buzz is that Jakkanna had reshot the whole episodes with Anushka and others and this said to had further increased the production cost of the film. Also, it's said that Rajamouli took help of visual effects and all these said to had drastically increased the budget of the film.
Grapevine is that the makers had to shell out extra Rs 20 Crore for reshoot and other expenses. However, the figure still remains unbelievable and appear far from truth. One has to wait for the confirmation from the makers. Although the makers had claimed that the first part was made with a whopping budget, the reality many say is the opposite.
Keeping this aside, the film's audio that was released recently got mixed response. However, trade says this would have zero effect on the film's huge openings.
