What Happened To Revanth Reddy?
After the 2009 election, MLA Revanth Reddy has become the face of Telugudesam and always comes to rescue when their supremo is in troubles. But this time, he is neither seen in media nor heard at party office. What's wrong with him?
Revanth Reddy, MLA from Mahbubnagar district stood like a pole for Telugudesam in the Telangana region. Despite being elected for the first time as an MLA, Revanth rose to ranks with his fire-brand reactions in ripping the opposition. However this time, regardless of accusations made on TDP president in the assembly, Revanth is not in frontline to condemn. Insiders say that a cold-war brewed between TDP's junior leaders and senior leaders regarding their seating position in the assembly sessions.
The war intensified with Revanth liking to sit beside Chandrababu as the place is vacant after Nagam's exit and Dhoolipala Narendra not showing interest for the move. Dhoolipala has to write a letter to the speaker for allowing Revanth to sit at that place. Naidu was believed to be silent on the issue as all the senior leaders have taken the side of Narendra and junior leaders joined Revanth. At the time of elections, Naidu doesn't want a split in the party and everything will be settled once elections are over, a source said.
