Nizamabad MP and KCR's daughter Kalvakuntla Kavitha has opined that there is a valid point in the protests of AP MPs in Parliament.
Speaking in Parliament, Kavitha backed the AP MPs and asked the Union Government to "fulfill" all the promises the government made in the AP Reorganization Act 2014.
Kavitha said, "Whichever promises have been made to us in the floor of the house in the AP Reorganization Act have to be honoured. Whether it is a Congress or BJP government, governance is a continuous process. We sincerely urge you to fulfill the promises you made to both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. Andhra brothers have been agitating for the past three days and kindly address the issue as soon as possible, since it sends wrong signal to people."
Kavitha added that the present scenario sends wrong signals to people as none other than the ally of the government resorted to protest in both the houses.
