Industrialists Are Also Using YSR-Death Now
Till date, politicians in the state have used the death of late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy as their prime tool to win elections. Now, some accused industrialists are also using it to escape from the clutches of law.
Nimmagadda Prasad, one of the prime accused in the scandalous VANPIC deals case, started using the card of YSR-Death now. CBI has earlier given statement that late CM YSR is the A1 in all these cases, but his name is not included as he is not alive. Nimmagadda's lawyers are using this statement of CBI to fetch a bail for the tainted industrialist. 'If YSR is not accused, then CBI cannot say that conspiracy took place. If there is no conspiracy then how come they will put Nimmagadda behind bars?' the lawyers questioned. Maybe CBI Court should either ask the investigation agency to include YSR name or to release Nimmagadda Prasad.
Analysts say that court may not consider all these claims, as the main accusation of CBI is about those missing 300 crores in Vanpic. In a couple of days we'll know if Nimmagadda gets bail or not!
