One of the most unique attempts in recent Telugu cinema, Sing Geetham blends mystery, fantasy, and a meaningful social message with Singeetham Srinivasa Rao’s signature touch visible throughout the film.
Devi Sri Prasad is the heart and soul of the movie. From the songs and background score to the innovative dialogue-song format, DSP delivers some of his finest work. His music does not just support the narrative, it becomes the narrative itself in many places.
If you are ready for a film that unfolds largely through dialogue-songs, you will appreciate the experiment. Though for some viewers, the style may feel a bit exhausting at times.
While the first half may not completely work for everyone, the film truly finds its rhythm in the second half. From the flashback episode onwards, especially in the final thirty minutes, every department comes together beautifully. DSP dominates the proceedings and carries the film towards an emotional and satisfying climax.
The entire cast performs well, and the special appearances are neatly placed within the story.
The film relies heavily on VFX work. While some portions feel underwhelming visually, the effects still manage to serve the film’s purpose effectively.
Credit goes to Nag Ashwin, Vyjayanthi Movies, and Swapna Cinema for backing such a distinctive vision.
Sing Geetham stands as a beautiful reminder of Singeetham Srinivasa Rao’s unique cinematic voice and the incredible contribution he has made to Telugu cinema.
If you are looking for something refreshingly different, Sing Geetham is worth experiencing on the big screen.
