Hyderabad Girl Steps On 'Nakka Thoka'

Legend says that stepping on 'Nakka Thoka' will give you lots of luck and this happened now for our Hyderabadi girl. Saina Nehwal is on cloud nine for the accidental circumstance that led to her crowning at London Olympics.

Saina has won third medal for India at London Olympics even though she hasn't won the match she played with world No.2 Xin Wang of China. After winning the first set, the Chinese player suffered a twisted knee before she took call about calling off the game. Saina thus became the first Indian badminton player to win a medal at Olympic Games.

Saina is the second woman from India to win a medal at Olympics. Earlier this feat was achieved by another Telugu lady Karanam Malleswari during Sydney Olympics in the year 2000.
