An American Airlines flight attendant, Estes Carter Thompson III, faces serious charges after allegedly attempting to secretly record a 14-year-old girl using an airplane bathroom and possessing images of child sexual abuse. Thompson, indicted by a federal grand jury, has been in custody since his arrest in January 2024. The investigation also uncovered recordings of four other girls using lavatories on flights where Thompson worked.
