Petrol Price Cut By Rs 25/Litre In This State

The fuel prices have touched an all time record and owing to the anger among the people, the government of India cut the prices a day before the Diwali festival and since then the prices remained unchanged. But the petrol price is going to be reduced by Rs 25 and there is a catch here.

This reduction of petrol price is only applicable in Jharkhand state and CM Hemant Soren announced the same. Yet it comes up with terms and conditions. The first t&C is, only petrol price is being reduced while the diesel price would continue to remain high. The second is, this is applicable only to two-wheelers while the last is, the reduced price will come into force from January 26th 2022.

“The price of petrol and diesel is increasing continuously, due to which the poor and middle class people are the most affected. Therefore the government will give a relief of Rs 25 per liter on petrol for two wheelers from the state level, its benefit will start from 26 January 2022,” tweeted the handle of Jharkhand CM.

This announcement came on the occasion of CM Hemant’s Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) government completing two years.

This is a never before in the Indian history that petrol price received a massive reduction and Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren deserves an applause for being pro common man.

The oppositions in Jharkhand are wondering, is this any political stunt but the truth is the state has no election in near future.
