Very Difficult For BJP To Come To Power In AP: Ram Madhav

BJP’s national general secretary Ram Madhav made interesting comments that it is very difficult for the AP BJP to come to power in Andhra Pradesh. On Tuesday, Somu Veerraju took over as AP BJP chief and on this occasion Ram Madhav made these comments.

“First we need to fill the opposition spot in the state. There is no opposition in AP and BJP needs to fill it. We need to be a constructive opposition and critical friend as a party. We are not a dynasty party and this we need to take to the people,” said Ram Madhav. Adding he said, “if we don’t act now, we will say in 2024 that in 2029 BJP will come to power in AP. Party should get strengthened from grassroot level.”

On the new chief, the BJP leader said, “Don’t think that Kanna Lakshminarayana was removed and Somu was appointed. This is part of strengthening the leadership for a longer run. Kanna will be given importance in future.”

About the ‘Three Capitals’ row, Ram Madhav said, no state in the country has three capitals. Uttar Pradesh is four times bigger than AP yet the state has only one capital and it is managing to do things. The Centre has just clarified to the AP High Court that it doesn’t involve in State’s matters.

In this same event, Somu Veerraju who took over AP BJP exuded confidence that BJP will win the elections in 2024 and be part of government.
