United States, president, Donald Trump has always been one of the most unpredictable global leaders, and this is on display again. He contradicted his own stand on the visa policy with his latest media statement.
Just a few weeks ago, Trump created huge panic amongst the Indian working community by largely amplifying the H1B visa processing fee. He imposed 100 K dollar fee on H1B visa candidates, which became a huge headache for the global working population in the United States.
And now Trump appears to have understood the consequences of his earlier action as he did something damage control with his latest amicable statement in front of the media.
When the interviewer asked Trump, if he is ready to crack down on H1B Visa immigrants in order to empower the local talents in the United States, he had an interesting reply.
“No, we don’t have adequate talented people in our country to entirely stop immigrant population. We lack in certain talents domestically here. For instance, I can’t pick people from the unemployment line and ask them to work in a factory that prepares missiles. We need talented people.” Trump said.
The deduction from Trump Media statement today is that he isn’t quite sure if America has the adequate domestic talent to completely stop the H1B visa issuance policy. It appears that he has realised the consequences of tightening the H1B visa policy as this largely cuts down the inflow of talent to the USA.
