Dacoit in two weeks collected 50 Crore Gross while it has to collect 60 Crore for Breakeven. The film was a profit for the Producer due to massive non-theatrical deals. But buyers did not make money in a few areas and the producer will have to help them.
The movie was steady even though it got mixed talk just because of Sesh’s Credibility in the audience.
As far as the new films are concerned – all the three struggled.
Bad Boy Karthik is a washout. Thimmarajupalli TV was a Profitable venture for Kiran Abbavaram due to the OTT deal and limited budget involved. He released the movie on his own and so there is no issue of buyers getting affected in any way.
Papam Prathap was made on a budget of 6.5 Crore and another 1.5 Crore was spent on Publicity and VPF Charges. ETV win will absorb around 3.5 Crore towards Satellite and OTT Rights. The Producer may lose a big amount.
