BRS is trying its level best to get back its foothold back in Telangana. Rekindling the Telangana Sentiment is the biggest Trump Card for the BRS but then, it is not working somehow.
In 2023, the Telangana Sentiment disappeared just like that after the party dropped ‘Telangana’ from its name.
In recent times, the BRS leaders are trying to invoke the same sentiment by targeting Chandrababu Naidu repeatedly.
They are hoping that Chandrababu will retaliate at some point and they can agitate the voters in the name of Telangana Pride but then, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister completely stayed silent. Now, they seem to have shifted the target to Pawan Kalyan.
Starting from Professor K Nageshwar issue, we have seen a few people target Pawan Kalyan in the name of Telangana.
We have seen some journalists target Pawan Kalyan saying that he encroached Kodi Cheruvu Land worth 500 Crore. Even though HYDRAA cleared that land, they are repeatedly targeting Pawan Kalyan.
Meanwhile, Janasena Party announced that Pawan Kalyan will address a Public meeting in Hyderabad on June 2nd.
BRS will be hoping that Pawan Kalyan makes some aggressive comments in that meeting so that they will get a chance to politicize.
It remains to be seen whether Pawan Kalyan will give the BRS an opportunity that Chandrababu Naidu refused, or put the matter to rest with a clear clarification and avoid an unnecessary Andhra Pradesh Telangana debate.
