No Peace For Mudragada Even In Death

Kapu Leader Mudragada Padmanabham passed away yesterday. His Mortal Remains were airlifted to Kirlampudi, his native village where the final rites are to be held.

But then, huge drama happened there. Mudragada’s son and supporters tried to stop his daughter, Kranthi from paying final respects to her father. Kranthi’s in-laws were in Janasena Party and she joined the party just before the elections.

Since then, Mudragada and his son kept her away. Finally, Kranthi had to have the last sight of her father amid huge Police Security cover.

And then, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan spoke to each other and decided to accord State Honours for Mudragada’s final rites.

But then, Mudragada’s family rejected the State Honours owing to the Political Differences with TDP and Janasena. However, this is a blunder on the part of the family.

State Honours are accorded by the Government and not by Political Parties. State Honours are respects given for the services to the state by Mudragada.

He was a four-time MLA and MP once. He worked as a Minister in the TDP and Congress Governments. The State Honours are for those Services and not anything related to Politics.

It is an ultimate honour to a Leader or someone who is in Public Service. The family denied the Respect to the Kapu leader. Finally, Mudragada did not have peace even in death.
