Box Office: Another Promising Weekend For Irumudi

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja scored his career’s biggest blockbuster with Irumudi. The film released on August 21 opened to unanimous positive reviews from all corners. Currently in its third week, Irumudi is still strong and showing solid numbers at the box-office with families and women hitting the cinemas.

The film is marching towards Rs 200 Crore World-Wide Gross and thus going to be 100 Crore WW Share film for Ravi Teja. This is the first of its kind for Ravi Teja and his best record.

Interestingly, Irumudi’s third week’s BO performance has got a huge advantage in the form of mid-week holidays. September 4, Friday, is Sri Krishna Janmashtami followed by Saturday and Sunday weekend.

Though there are a spate of releases this week at the cinemas, Irumudi still manages to do well. It has got a strong word of mouth. And there are repeated audiences for the film which is working well for the film in the third week.

Irumudi already managed to sustain from Yash’s Toxic wave and bravely stood against all the odds. While Toxic turned out to be a huge disappointment, it added further prospects for Irumudi. Overall, another long and strong weekend for Irumudi is making its 200 crore target quite easy.
