Modi Faces Biggest Challenge After 25 Years Of Power

It has been 25 years since Prime Minister Narendra Modi got his hands on absolute power, which started with the chief minister position in Gujarat and is currently continuing as the Prime Minister of India.

The Gujarat model that was presented by the then CM Narendra Modi was so very successful that he was able to gain the trust of the Indian population to become the prime minister. He first became the PM in 2014, and there has been no looking back ever since.

But in his third term in the office, it appears that Prime Minister Modi is facing a significant challenge with regard to the public administration.

For the first time, the NDA government is facing opposition from all quarters. First, it was the NEET question paper leakage, which added a lot of pressure on the government and a subsequent students protest resulted in resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan.

This is followed by significant agitation against the E20 petrol. People across the country are complaining about in adequate mileage and possible damage to the engine parts due to this petrol.

Now we have the biggest fight happening with regard to the chief election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, which is the burning factor now. There is a lot of pressure on the government and the election commission to immediately fire Gyanesh Kumar, who is facing allegations of SIR misconduct and EVM fraud.

This is the first real challenge since the start of Modi regime that the government is facing any significant backlash from the public and dealing with this is not going to be easy by any stretch of imagination.

But at the same time, Prime Minister Modi has the trust and respect of veteran leaders like AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu.

On the occasion of Modi, completing 25 years in public service, Chandrababu wrote “25 years of public service is a remarkable milestone in the journey of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji. India is fortunate to have the right leader, at the right time, in the right place.”
