Gulte.com’s Journalist Nishant sat with Visakhapatnam MP Mathukumilli Bharat in the Port City, discussing many topics like Politics, GITAM, Public Policy, Investments, Amaravati, MAVIGUN, Family Life, Cinema, etc.
“If there are any intellectuals in YSR Congress, they should explain how Jagan can shift his priorities overnight. He said Visakhapatnam as the capital after 2019, and now, he is saying 2029 is the referendum for MAVIGUN. This is so unbecoming of a leader. People here are clear. They wanted a peaceful life. So, they did not believe YSRCP in 2019,” Bharat said.
Bharat explained in detail why no corporate is interested in Rushikonda Palace, why there is no movement whatsoever in the Visakhapatnam Metro Rail Project, etc.
When asked about Beach Shacks, he said, “We have Bars and Wine Shops which are run peacefully without any issues. They are just fearmongering using Beach Shacks. They are only trying to scare investors away from Vizag”.
Bharat also explained the allegations of land-grabbing by GITAM and went on to say that, in fact, GITAM paid a price for their family being in politics despite having all eligibility to get land regularized.

Speaking about the interest of Tejaswini (Balakrishna’s wife) in films, he also explained about how he used to watch at least 100 films per year earlier and how he used to follow Box Office websites like Box Office Mojo, etc.
He spoke about how Tejaswini involves in Balakrishna’s films, Balakrishna Couple’s openness about allowing her into films, Mokshagna’s Debut, etc.
