A Very Good Dasara For Tollywood At The Box Office

Dasara 2026 has turned out to be a very good festive season for Telugu cinema, with Jailer 2 (Dubbed), Ranabaali and Garividi Lakshmi registering encouraging numbers at the box office. While the three films belong to different genres, their performance during the holiday period has brought a smile to the trade.

Interestingly, all three movies have managed to show first-Sunday-range numbers, with Garividi Lakshmi delivering an especially surprising performance. The film has witnessed a notable pickup in collections, benefiting from good audience appreciation.

Jailer 2 has emerged as a sure-shot blockbuster, enjoying strong collections despite mixed talk. The Rajinikanth starrer has benefited from the star’s massive fan following, festive holidays, and the film’s commercial appeal, making it one of the biggest winners of the season.

Meanwhile, Ranabaali is performing better than its initial talk. Although the Vijay Deverakonda starrer received mixed reactions, the film has managed to attract audiences during the holiday period, but its performance in the coming days will be crucial.

The biggest surprise among the three is Garividi Lakshmi. Without the advantage of a major star, the film has recorded a noticeable improvement in collections especially in Uttharandhra region, with positive word of mouth helping its theatrical run.
