Case Lodged Against Dasari’s Sons For Threatening

A case has been lodged against late filmmaker Dasari Narayana Rao’s sons Dasari Prabhu and Dasari Arun for allegedly threatening. Going into details, Guntur based Somasekhar Rao was a friend of Dasari and when the filmmaker was hospitalised due to ill health, Dasari borrowed Rs 2.10 crore from Somasekhar.

Post Dasari’s death, in 2018 Dasari’s sons Prabhu and Arun informed Somasekhar that they would be repaying the borrowed amount. Prabhu and Arun accepted to pay Rs 1.15 crore at the earliest but it’s been almost three years now and Somasekhar did not receive any money from the Dasaris’s sons.

On July 27th, Somasekhar visited Dasari’s residence located at road number 46 in Jubilee Hills. However Somasekhar did not get the reception he anticipated but he urged Prabhu and Arun to make the payment.

After paying a visit to Dasari’s home, Somasekhar directly reached Jubilee Hills police station to lodge a complaint. Somasekhar allegedly claimed that Dasari Prabhu and Arun have threatened him if he visits the home next time.

Taking the written complaint, the police booked a case against Dasari Prabhu and Arun under appropriate sections. Meanwhile Dasari’s sons are yet to make a comment on this.
