8 Releases This Weekend; All hopes On Paagal

Tollywood box office reopening witnessed a poor footfall in theatres. When compared to the response of the audiences to new releases after the first lockdown, the releases after the second lockdown could not draw the much-needed attention.

Thimmarusu and Ishq: Not a Love Story are the two films that were released on July 30th. Thimmarusu succeeded in minting money at the box office but Ishq: Not a Love Story failed to generate a positive response.

Then released the film SR Kalyanamandapam. The film opened to a poor response from the critics but the makers claimed it as a hit already.

Ippudu Kaaka Inkeppudu, Mugguru Monagallu, Merise Merise, MAD, and Ksheera Sagara Mathanam were released last weekend at the box office. Not even a single film received a hit talk.

Cut to the present, eight films are releasing this weekend. Among these 8, six films are releasing on 13th August (Friday) and 2 films are releasing on 14th August (Saturday).
