Back then, a plethora of rumours has emerged that hottie Samantha Prabhu has stepped in to play a key role in star hero Prabhas’ upcoming sci-fi action thriller, #ProjectK, being directed by Nag Ashwin. And finally, the starlet took time to clarify actually what is going on regarding this project.
“I don’t how this rumour has emerged, but I will be glad to become part of that project. I’m going to message Nag Ashwin right away to ask him why he hasn’t cast me or what’s he going to do with me for that film” said Samantha. The film features Prabhas and Deepika Padukone as the leads, while Amitabh Bachhan and other stellar cast are playing crucial roles.
Apparently with Samantha singing Vignesh Shivan’s film that features Vijay Sethupati and Nayantara in the leads, and our hottie as another lead, many felt that she’s up for multi-starrers now, and might have signed #ProjectK too. But with this clarity coming up, one could understand that she has no clue about the film and it’s just only a rumour.
Not just this movie of Prabhas, Samantha clarified that she hasn’t signed any other project in recent times. “Gunasekhar’s Shakuntalam is the last film and I intend to take a break now. I will be looking forward to women writers and directors and would like to work with them on scrips from the scratch or on a small idea. Currently, there are no other projects in my kitty” Samantha added.
