The ongoing Bigg Boss Telugu Five’s one of the contestants, Priyanka Singh aka Sai Teja is now grabbing all the attention as she becomes the second transgender woman to enter the show after Tamannaah Simhadri in season 3.
Priyanka has risen to a crescendo in terms of popularity with the comedy reality show Jabardasth and when she was out and about on the show, Nagababu was serving as a judge. In one of his recent interactions, Mega brother Nagababu said that he is watching Bigg Boss 5 and contestants such as Ravi, Anne master, Natraj Master, Sreeram, Priya are well acquainted with him.
However, he made a translucent statement that he would be supporting Priyanka Singh over everyone else. “My full support is with Priyanka,” he stated. Naga Babu said that Priyanka is very close to him even before her gender reassignment surgery. He recalled how she fought her way to the face of mainstream entertainment and he is now proud to see her in the show.
“Initially, she faced a lot of criticism and downfalls. Changing her gender gave her unimaginable health issues including extreme hormonal imbalance and excruciating pain almost every day,” Naga Babu remembers her past ordeals. He further added that he brought her to Jabardasth when she ran out of offers. “I certainly cannot tell if she will emerge as a winner of Bigg Boss but I will support only her for the season,” he added.
Priyanka was seen playing female characters in Jabardath and later, she suspended her projects temporarily to focus on her health complications post her sex reassignment surgery. She was born Sai Teja, one of the youngest of the three siblings. In one of her recent interviews, Priyanka also said that Nagababu Konidela is financially assisting her. She added that he was assured to support her financially until she is settled in life.
