The actor got injured after he fell from his sports bike near the cable bridge – Ikea area of Hyderabad. Reports emerge that he fell into unconscious state right after the accident.
Sai Tej was wearing a helmet, but still got heavily injured to to the speed and intensity of the mishap. Police moved him immediately to Medicover hospital for treatment.
Sai Dharam Tej got severe injuries on his right eye and chest area. He is now shifted to Apollo hospital after being treated at Medicover. The bike reportedly skid due to mud and speed, but the actor was wearing a helmet and was not drunk. The case has been filed and police will be taking further action after checking the CCTV footage.
According to the press statement from Apollo, Sai Dharam Tej was brought to Apollo hospitals in Jubilee hills after being put on assisted respiration. He is medically stable and there are no major injuries to brain, spine and major organs. He sustained soft tissue injuries and a collar bone fracture. There is no need for any immediate surgical intervention.
According to the police, the accident occured due to over speeding. Sai Dharam Tej was unable to control the speed and fell from it, according to Madhapur CI.
The team at hospital is reportedly scanning him for internal injuries if any. Close sources revealed that Sai Dharam Tej is out of danger and is recovering.
Sai Dharam Tej likes bike riding and he often goes on bike with friends during the free time.
