#SushantSuicide: Ekta Kapoor Upset With Case Filed On Her

Ekta Kapoor is eminently known for her terrific Hindi daily soaps from the past two decades and she is the queen of Indian Television industry. Ekta is also one among 50 influential women in India and her stellar work in the Television industry gave her a lot of accolades and achievements.

As she continues to rule serials world, today, along with many biggies like Salman Khan, Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, a case has been filed against Ekta Kapoor in the context of Sushant Singh’s suicide case. Advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha filed a case against eight members of the film industry against Sections 306 (abetment of suicide), 109 (punishment of abetment if the act abetted is committed in consequence and where no express provision is made for its punishment), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of the peace) and 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation).

The complaint suggests that the nearly seven films have been taken away from the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s kitty and some of his films were left unreleased. Such a situation was created which forced him to take the extreme step,” the advocate said. Now producer Ekta Kapoor responded to the allegations in an Instagram post and said “Thanku for the case for not casting sushi….when Actually I LAUNCHED HIM. I’m beyond upset at how convoluted theories can b! Pls@let family n frns mourn in peace! Truth shall@prevail. CANNOT BELIEVE THIS!!!!!”

Sushant was launched by Ekta with her serial Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. Ekta and Sushant also shared a good rapport until he died. And his second serial, Pavitra Rishta was also produced by her., which gave him a good recognition. Booking Ekta Kapoor in the case made a few of the television stars express their outrage. Popular TV actors like Mouni Roy, Mahi Vij and Aashka Goradia left their comments on Ekta’s post saying that it is not fair and they are all in support of her.
