Chaitanya’s father is a top-level police official. The official announcement is not made yet, but the Instagram profile of Chaitanya VJ is followed by both Niharika and Varun Tej, giving much strength to these reports.
August 13 seems to be the engagement date and Chiranjeevi is heard to have talked and arranged this marriage.
