Puneeth Rajkumar’s Unmissable Rapport With Telugu Stars

Kannada actor, popularly known as Appu and Power Star Puneeth Rajkumar, passed away at the Vikram Hospital in Bengaluru on Friday after suffering a heart attack. His body is to be kept at Kanteerava stadium for people to pay homage. The 46-year-old superstar reportedly collapsed while working out at a gym and was rushed to the hospital immediately. 

Many celebrities, irrespective of language and region, tweeted condolences and Puneeth has always maintained profound rapport with several Telugu stars. Known for his down-to-earth and amicable nature, Puneeth stood as thick friends with Chiranjeevi, Charan, Jr NTR, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, and many more.

Kannada’s superstar once visited Chiru’s residence and personally invited the mega family for his nephew’s wedding (son of Puneeth’s elder brother Raghavendra Rajkumar). The late actor shared a very strong bonding with Chiru for decades. During the visit, he also met Charan and invited him personally. 

Back when Rajamouli was spotted with Puneeth at Shivarajkumar’s daughter Nirupama’s wedding, rumors appeared that the duo would soon work for a film. Talking about Balayya, the senior actor always shared a sweet bonding with Puneeth after NTR Kathanayakudu Bangalore Press Meet.

Not so long ago, Jr. NT Rama Rao recorded a song for Puneeth Rajkumar-starrer Chakravyuha. Furthermore, Mahesh Babu and Puneeth were good friends and the duo’s pictures from Dookudu’s Kannada remake Power audio release function in Bellary went super viral in the past. To the unversed, Mahesh attended the audio release of Puneeth’s film at the Bellary Municipal Grounds.

In a similar vein, Allu Arjun also graced Puneeth’s Jackie film audio launch long ago and sported their good rapport at the event. Not to forget, Puneeth’s first film Appu in 2002 was directed by Puri Jagannadh.Ever since then, they had been good friends.

Puneeth always heaped praises for Tollywood and its stars. And, often times his pictures with our stars in the public have vouched for the same. Today, with the sudden demise of Puneeth, the whole of Tollywood is equally saddened and shattered.
