Seven weeks is the initial norm for any film to release on OTT platform post theatrical release. This gap is set to widen for the magnum opus ‘RRR’ as the makers are not in mood to rush for an OTT release.
Confirming the same, producer Jayantilal Gada who is presenting the Hindi ‘RRR’ revealed a big update that the film will be made available on OTT platform after 75 to 90 days post the theatrical release.
“RRR will premiere on OTT 75 to 90 days after its release. We are confident that people would want to experience this in cinema halls for a long time. We won’t opt for a 30 day premiere,” said Jayantilal.
This would also help ‘RRR’ to register good box office numbers. Apparently after witnessing just the trailer in theatres, movie buffs had a feeling of wanting more. ‘RRR’ trailer seriously left a huge impact and the grand visual must need a theatrical experience rather than a six inches odd screen.
With such goosebumps content, audiences will definitely pay a visit to theatres and experience this massive explosion.
