Tamil hero Simbu celebrated his 39th birthday yesterday and several celebs wished the actor on social media. We all know Simbu has come a long way with his talent and hard work to become one of the bankable actors today. He was also looked up to by fans for his massive physical transformation.
Simbu, who used to flaunt his chiselled six-pack abs in 2011 and around, had a setback in his career. He found himself in the middle of various controversies and there was even a ban from the producers’ council of Tamil cinema against him for his “unprofessional behaviour.” For four years, he had no work and hit the lowest point in his career and personal life.
Back in 2020, during the lockdown period, Simbu has decided once for all to quit his unhealthy lifestyle and become superfit. On his birthday yesterday, he gave a glimpse of his inspiring fitness journey with the help of the former’s fitness trainer Sandeep Raj. Sharing the video of his fitness journey titled ‘The Journey of #ATMAN SilambarasanTR’, Silambarasan posted, “Hope this journey of mine inspires countless more..”
His initial weight was 105 kgs and Simbu is seen going for early morning walks, doing simple cardio workouts and boxing. He slowly increased the intensity of workouts by adding treadmill runs, swimming, jogging, sports, and martial arts. The actor also went into a spiritual state of mind with Ayyappa Deeksha.
His journey from 101 to 71 kg is nothing but solid inspiration for all of us. The actor also changed his diet, from eating several packs of biryanis in a day to turning pure vegetarian. His journey has impressed us with his endless motivation and dedication.
