Green India Challenge that has gained momentum in Hyderabad was started by TRS Rajya Sabha member J Santosh Kumar. Under the Green India Challenge that aims to create awareness about the importance of trees, many people from different walks of life plant saplings and nurture it for a greener India.
Latest to join the list is Akkineni Bahu Samantha who has accepted the Green India Challenge from her father-in-law Nagarjuna. Samantha planted saplings along with Nagarjuna at her residence in Jubilee Hills.
Samantha nominated her Mahanati co-star Keerthy Suresh and Rashmika Mandanna to take up the challenge. She also requested fans to support the good cause by planting saplings at their premises.
