DJ Tillu Craze Affects Mass Raja Big Time

Apparently, it’s the craze around a film that works until the film hits cinemas, but it will be only the content that pulls the audience to theatres after a release. And when a poorly made film is in theatres with no competition, it automatically clicks, and if there is competition, then the chances are the opposite.

Usually, Sundays should record huge footfalls for any mass movie, but then the arrival of DJ Tillu in theaters has changed the mindsets of the audience it looks.

Apparently, Raviteja’s Khiladi got poor reviews from all quarters but many expected that Dimple Hayathi’s glam factor will bring lots of footfalls. However, the arrival of DJ Tillu, whose content is also average but actually a pretty fun ride, has diverted most youths towards that film.

And slowly steadily just within a day, Tillu amassed a huge craze with Siddhu Jonnalgadda’s dialogues as well as acting talents in the first half of the film working out big time. That led to this youthful entertainer suffocating Mass Raja’s movie in a big way. From Monday, trade pundits are expecting that Khiladi will suffer big time at the box office in the hands of Tillu.

On the collections front, after doing a worldwide theatrical business of ₹ 25 crores, Khiladi managed to get ₹ 9 crores share so far, and it will be tough from now onwards. At the same time, DJ Tillu is said to have recovered 80% of the theatrical sales investment in two days span and is likely to create a fortune for all the parties involved.
