Young Tollywood producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi has tendered an apology for his controversial comments against audiences. Going into details, the team of ‘DJ Tillu’ held a success meet the other day and when media persons asked about the second part of the film, Naga Vamsi comments shocked many.
“Audiences really don’t think about the second part of ‘DJ Tillu’ or its box office collections. He paid Rs 150 for the ticket and we offered Rs 1500 worth entertainment with the film and he is happy. “(Vaadu Iche Noota Yabai Rupalaku Vadu Navvukundaa Leda Saripotundi. These comments did not go down well and audiences were really upset and taking to social media, they lashed out at the producers for his arrogant remarks.
With these comments going viral, Naga Vamsi issued a clarification. “I have immense respect for audiences and they are strong pillar of my production house. My comments sent a wrong signal that I used singular form against audiences but my intentions were that we entertained the audiences more than what they have paid for and I used the term that I feel connected with them. I’m pained that my comments have hurt the audiences. I would like to reiterate that audiences are backbone and I respect them,” read the statement shared by Naga Vamsi on social media.
The controversy is settled now.
