We All Knew That It’s Going To Be A Tsunami

Power Star Pawan Kalyan and handsome hunk Rana Daggubati’s craziest multi-starrer Bheemla Nayak is creating collections tsunami at the tickets window. The film is expected to break many records, going by the trend. The team has organized success meet today.

Thaman said, “We all knew that it’s going to be a tsunami. There was too much of disturbance in social media as there was rumors of the film releasing directly on OTT. We really worked hard for last 6-7 months to release the movie on February 25th. It’s a first big film to release after third wave. Our willpower was very strong. There’s such energy every day. We enjoyed so much working for the film. This film is like a memorable journey. Trivikram gave us so much liberty.”

Director Saagar K Chandra said, “The collection reports have come. It’s a huge blockbuster. First, I would like to thank my producers Vamsi and Chinababu. Thaman has given wonderful music. He added great value to the scenes, story-telling and movie with his music. A deeper and evolved person can only do such magic. Trivikram is the backbone of the film.

While we are flowers of a mala, he is the thread. He’s the one who hold and co-ordinated all of us. We wanted to make the film in a way that people should come forward to remake it in other languages. It’s a great learning experience working with him.”

Trivikram Srinivas said, “I first need to thank media. You took the film to audience. The original version Ayyappanum Koshiyum was told from Koshy’s point of view. It’s a tough job for us to narrate the story from Bheemla Nayak’s point of view in Telugu. We need to shift the balance. We started the journey of Bheemla Nayak saluting forest, as to take the character close to the jungle. We later intertwined Koshy’s character. The major changes we made was both the characters have uniform journey.

When a star like Pawan Kalyan is working, we needed to balance the things as there will be huge expectations from fans and audience. In fact, every actor owned their characters. What I understood was Telugu, in fact, Indian new generation actors are far superior than 80s and 90s actors. I’m really sorry, if this statement hurts anyone. There’s great transformation I observed in last 5 to 6 years. Their understanding towards cinema and crafts is remarkable.

Sithara is like my own production house. The way Saagar understood the cinema is outstanding. We all were there to create a bridge, so that Saagar will feel comfortable directing Pawan Kalyan. It was Saagar’s idea to include Mogulaiah’s version in title song. Icing on the cake is he won Padma Shri award.

Pawan and Rana worked fearless during covid time. They needed to shoot, removing the masks every day. Thaman is like a family member. Greatest thing about him is he converses through his music, like how artists portray their feelings.”
