Elections In North: Pushpa Trends Big Time

Stylish Star Allu Arjun is currently waiting to begin the shoot of his next film Pushpa: The Rule. The second part of the Pushpa franchise is all set to hit the screens the year-end. Needless to remind the sensation that Pushpa: The Rise has created all over the nation. Pushpa turned out to be a slow poison and entire North India was left in the awe of the movie. Surprisingly, the Pushpa craze is visible in the election campaigning in North India in multiple states.

Many political leaders who campaigned for their respective parties in the state used the references from the film Pushpa to attract the crowds. From junior leaders to senior politicians, everyone, at some point referred to Pushpa film in their speeches.

Congress party in Uttar Pradesh released a new anthem song in popular ‘Srivalli’ song style. “Tu hai gazab, UP; Teri kasam, UP.” “Hum UP type hai,” is displayed in many frames in the video accompanying the song.

At a rally in Uttarakhand’s Pushkar, Union Minister and BJP leader Rajnath Singh used a dialogue from Pushpa. The senior leader said, “Pushkar hai to congress wale phool samajh liye, Pushkar Phool bhi hai or fire bhi.”

On the other hand, Punjab is promoting their CM candidate with the tagline, ‘Jhukega Nahi’.

This is not the first time that the North politicians took cues from South films to attract the crowds. Earlier, they also took references from Baahubali to attract voters.

The poll results in UP, Uttarakhand, and Punjab will be declared on March 10, 2022.
