Queen Bee Samantha is back in the glam-biz with her song “Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava” taking everyone by a storm. But then, though the spicy siren wants to do an out-and-out glamorous role on the screen in a commercial film, somehow her lineup isn’t that way.
Samantha has releases like Shakuntala, Yashodha, Kaathuvakula Rendu Kadhal and another untitled Telugu-Tamil film lined up, but none of them actually show her in a glamorous fashion.
If one keeps doing these off-beat types of female-centric movies for a long time, it would not bring enough attention from the youths. Now that the Pushpa item song has proved its worth, Samantha is said to be trying hard to bag such a glamorous role.
Though the pretty siren tried grabbing Jr NTR and Koratala Siva’s movie, they have roped in Alia Bhatt in the end. Similarly, a couple of other commercial projects also went out of Samantha’s hand for various reasons, and she’s said to be now planning to meet some star Telugu directors to check her luck.
On the other hand, Samantha has a web series lined up with The Family Man makers Raj and DK again, which has Varun Dhawan as male lead, while she had a Hollywood film as well in hand in which she will appear as a bisexual woman.
