That’s how many star heroines of the past era have failed to make a mark when they did come back to films after years of hiatus. Here we are talking about Maine Pyaar Kiya fame beauty Bhagyasree.
In other day’s release Radhe Shyam, Bhagyasree was seen as Prabhas’ mother in one of the most ineffective roles of the movie. Her role has neither a purpose nor any emotional curve attached to it, except for the fact that the role is used to transport Prabhas from Rome to London. With nothing to offer, even Bhagyasree looked clueless in the movie and the Hindi audience who are quite familiar with her might have got shocked to see this lackluster role.
Earlier, Bhagyasree appeared in the role of Sandhya, mother of former Tamilnadu Chief Minister Jayalalitha in the recently released biopic, Kangana Ranaut’s Thalaivi. Even that film ended up as a dud leaving the good work of Bhagyasree goes unnoticed. Looks like the senior heroine should pick up her roles quite carefully from now and the kind of films she choses.
