Videos: Charan’s Crazy Fans Encounter In Mumbai!

Gone are the days when only Hindi cinema was chosen as its contender for the foreign-language Oscar. Gone are the days when Bollywood was the only sector foreigners talked about. Indian regional cinemas are omnipresent and among them, Telugu cinema stood as the rising power, surpassing Bollywood in terms of the share of box office collections.

No wonder our Telugu actors are earning a legion of fans around the world and people who consider them demigod idols. Yesterday, when Charan visited Gaiety Galaxy theatre in Mumbai, the absolute fan frenzy, with the highest number of crazy followers from all over the city, blew our minds. The craze is unbelievable and a massive crowd gathered to get a glimpse of Charan.

With such gigantic craze for Telugu actors – Prabhas, Bunny, Tarak, and Charan, certainly, Telugu cinema is now the face of Indian cinema. The South is indeed proud to witness such a massive cultural phenomenon.

Talking about Charan, just because he is the son of Megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan was mistaken by many that everything was handed to him on a silver platter for his Bollywood debut. But it did not happen like that. Almost a decade ago in 2013, Charan made his Bolly debut with Zanjeer alongside Priyanka Chopra. The film was not only a debacle at BO but even Charan was outright ignored by the North audience.

Later, the Mega Powerstar did not try for more Hindi films, for reasons best known to him. But the magnum opus RRR today changed the fate of Charan across the nation. Those audiences who ignore him are now praising him. The magnum opus made a huge impact on all sections of the audience and Charan and Tarak’s performances are highly lauded.

With the recent videos where a bunch of fans getting into full Nacho Nacho mode to celebrate the actor’s presence, it is understood that the craze for Charan and Tarak has taken over every inch of India.  In fact, the Telugu film industry has been on a winning streak ever since the Baahubali franchise came out. The second-largest film industry of India has been making headlines time and again, thanks to its number of releases and monstrous box office collections
