Dil Raju is currently the top producer and distributor in the Telugu film industry. With RRR, the producer minted huge profits at the box office in the Nizam area. Dil Raju is now expanding his wings to other territories as well.
Dil Raju is making his debut in Tamil Cinema with two big bilingual projects. One of them is being directed by Shankar and features Ram Charan in the lead role. The other one is with Thalapathy Vijay which is being directed by Vamshi Paidipally.
Raju is also making his Bollywood debut in a few days. His maiden Hindi production venture, Jersey is all set to hit the screens on April 14. Starring Shahid Kapoor in the lead role, it is an official remake of the 2019 Telugu film of the same name.
Raju has bankrolled Jersey along with Allu Aravind, Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, and Aman Gill. Gautam Tinnanuri has bankrolled the project.
Jersey has been postponed multiple times due to the pandemic. Finally, it is hitting the theatres now. Dil Raju wants to make a grand Bollywood debut with this movie.
Shahid’s last film Kabir Singh was a massive hit at the box office. It has to be seen if he can repeat the success with Jersey. If he does, then it is a dream debut for Dil Raju in Bollywood.
