Meanwhile, a few fans in Kolkata went a step ahead and conducted a separate marriage ceremony for Alia and Ranbir.
They held this ceremony to the statues of Ranbir and Alia. This marriage was held by following all customs. A procession was also held by fans carrying these statues.

On the career front, Ranbir and Alia will be seen together in the film Brahmastra. This is the first film in their collaboration. It is all set to hit the screens on September 9.
