Superstar Mahesh Babu has become the talk of the town with ace director Koratala Siva making use of his voice to narrate the opener of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s “Acharya” movie. And that brought to everyone’s notice why the promotions of “Sarkaruvaari Paata” haven’t started yet. And here’s the catch.
While Acharya is releasing next Friday, Mahesh Babu’s massy action thriller Sarkaruvaari Paata is hitting cinemas on May 12th. Even though Dil Raju’s F3 is going to release towards the end of May (27th), the promotions of that raunchy comedy have started in a big way already. But then, Mahesh’s film is not yet all getting promoted though the time for release is just 20 days more.
And the only promotion that is happening in connection with this Parasuram directorial so far is maestro Thaman giving some breadcrumbs about the film’s backgroundscore. While the two songs that were released so far from SVP album have got the attention, these days heroes and other crew should promote the film relentlessly for almost 15-20 days to get heavy openers at the box office.
After looking at the way Prabhas, Ram Charan, NTR and Yash promoted their movies in recent times, one would definitely ask why Mahesh is ignoring that. Though he will be scoring mightily in Telugu states, if the Superstar wants more buzz in other territories, he should start promoting the film. Isn’t it? Or should we believe in the rumour that the film is getting postponed though the last song shoot got wrapped other day?
