Rakhi Sawant is not fresh for controversies. Rakhi Sawant is in soup this time as she reportedly made fun of ‘tribal clothes’ and thus hurt sentiments of the tribal community. An FIR was booked against Rakhi for mocking the Adivasi Tribal community. Rakhi’s video post on her Instagram where she was seen showcasing her eccentric side with a Tribal dress has gone viral.
Hurt by this, the president of the Central Sarna Committee of Jharkhand Ajay Tirkey has lodged a complaint with police against Rakhi Sawant. Tirkey pointed out that Rakhi was wearing a ‘semi-nude’ outfit that he said ‘demeans’ the tribal women and insulted the community. The Central Sarna Committee president demanded an unconditional apology from Rakhi Sawant. He also demanded action against the actress under suitable sections of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
Meanwhile, the video was deleted by Rakhi following criticism. In the video, Rakhi was heard saying, “Guys, are you looking at my new look…Today, it’s a tribal look…”
