Will Mahesh’s Film Get A Push From BJP?

In recent times, political pushes for films that deal with particular aspect are actually helping them a lot at the box office.

The success of “The Kashmiri Files” could be attributed to the unconditional support from the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party at the center. And one wonders if the BJP Ministers will do the same for this film coming from the South as well.

Already Defense Minister Rajnath Singh watched the trailer of Adivi Sesh’s “Major” which is based on the life and times of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who was martyred during the deadliest 26/11 terrorist attack on India’s financial capital Mumbai.

As BJP has earlier given tax exemptions and other goodies to Uri movie as well, many are expecting that they stand by “Major” as well.

If BJP gives that push to Major, surely the film might get terrific openings and results as well in the Hindi circuit. For the uninformed, Major was shot simultaneously in Telugu as well as Hindi rather than just depending on the dubbed versions for the North release.

That should work big time for Sesh and his team, who have poured in years of effort for this film produced by Superstar Mahesh Babu.
