Actor Naga Chaitanya is one among them and he praised many a thing about Vikram. Chay is busy promoting his upcoming movie Thank You. In one of the interviews, Chay said he liked the Vikram movie very much.
Chay says that mass movie doesn’t mean just ‘action’, but many more. When asked about the best mass movie in recent times, Naga Chaitanya said it is Kamal Haasan’s Vikram and called it a proper mass film. Naga Chaitanya said he likes doing mass films, but admits getting a movie like Vikram is tough. Chay is also doing a mass film with Vikram Prabhu and he will be playing a cop in it.
Naga Chaitanya further reveals he wants to be a versatile actor but got stuck with the lover boy image unexpectedly. He regrets blindly believing in some new directors and how it affected his films. Chay speaks frankly that you do some films by getting influenced by the people around you and the films that were released during that time. He underlines he will be staying away from new directors for a while.
About other topics, Naga Chaitanya says there are many changes in movies, theaters, and marketing and our film industry need to change accordingly. If needed heroes need to work in profit sharing method, he says. Chay also opined that the gap between a movie’s theatrical release and OTT release should be more.
