In the latest episode of Koffee With Karan, the one thing that the audience has heard multiple times is host Karan Johar calling Samantha Prabhu the ‘hottest’ starlet for her Oo Antava appearance. At the same time, he surprised everyone, no, he has simply shocked everyone, by proposing a holiday trip to her.
As Samantha clarified her marital status and stated that she’s pretty much single and hasn’t found love yet, Karan Johar also echoed that he’s also pretty much single and asked her, “Shall we go on a holiday together?”.
However, Samantha is quick to deny his proposal. “I’m not open to love anymore, in this situation at the least. So I can’t come on holiday”, she said.
And then when Karan Johar stated that he is being compared to a snake by netizens, Samantha said that she likes snakes, and KJo asked her again, for which the actress gave a weird smile. Later when he asked her what is the way to her heart, the star heroine claimed, “It’s closed, please take a U-turn”.
With Karan Johar clarifying his sexual orientation many times, and Samantha known for her own preferences, many are wondering why would he ask her out on a holiday?
Surely, that could be just friendship but nothing more, however with Samantha saying that she has shut doors for love, many KJo wants to play cupid for someone else here.
At a later point of time in the interview, when the name of Vijay Devarakonda popped up, KJo reminded us that both Samantha and Vijay D are single and nothing blossomed between them. “You have recently been to Kashmir with him for a month-long shooting, and there are chances that something might have blossomed. Anything such?”
Denying that there is nothing such, Samantha reminded KJo what she told him off the record before the beginning of the show.
