Leaving his fans in shock, actor Sanjay Dutt has been detected with stage 3 lung cancer and he flies off to the US for immediate treatment. The actor did not make this news official but has shared on his Twitter account to share that he is going to take a short break from work.
He wrote, “Hi friends. I am taking a short break from work for some medical treatment. My family and friends are with me and I urge my well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon!” (sic)
Sources close to the actor have revealed the news to a Mumbai-based entertainment portal. It is said that the actor is shaken after knowing the news about cancer and is hoping to recover with the help of rigorous treatment.
Sanjay Dutt was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai on August 8 but was discharged on August 10. The 61-year-old actor was admitted to the ICU of the hospital after he complained about chest discomfort and breathing troubles and said that he tested COVID negative. But now, he is positive about cancer now.
