Chiranjeevi seems to be enjoying the success of Godfather fully. He went on live chat with director Puri Jagannath, who also did a crucial role in the movie.
Chiru and Puri Jagannath spoke about many things about Godfather and how the former has been celebrating its success. Well, they had a chat about something more interesting at this point. It is ‘Auto Jaani’.
Earlier, it is known that Puri Jagannath approached Chiranjeevi with a script called Auto Jaani, which never really materialized. During the chat, Chiru brought up the topic of Auto Jaani and asked Puri what he has done about it.
Responding to that, Puri Jagannath said he shelved it and will work on a better script than that ‘old looking’ concept. Chiru further said he would look forward to working in Puri’s direction.
Apart from Godfather and Aut Jaani, Chiru and Puri also talked about their recent failures Liger and Acharya. Puri said he has been staying in Bombay and is working on a new script currently. Answering Chiru on how he takes a failure, Puri said he would believe that the healing period should be not more than a month. Puri said he enjoyed working for Liger for three years but its failure can’t make him cry for the next three years.
Puri said one would look genius when scores a blockbuster and the same guy looks like a fool in failure. Puri revealed that when he learned about Liger’s failure, he went to the gym and did 100 squats. Responding to the same, Chiru brought up his Acharya failure and said he went on a vacation with family in May and came back with double energy.
Chiru also said the Godfather team and himself worked on changes for the film for the betterment until the last minute. This is the first time ever Puri Jagannath acknowledges the failure of Liger and though Chiru also did it about Acharya, he somehow is not mentioning the name of the movie also.
