The trailer of Huma Qureshi and Sonakshi Sinha’s Double XL is out now. ‘Double XL’ trailer shows the dreams and struggles of two women and how they hit back at the body-shaming society in a style.
Huma Qureshi fantasizes about dancing with cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and dreams of becoming a sports journalist, but she gets body shamed. Her mother tries to get her married to one of those narrow-minded men and even the companies reject her by looking at her pictures.
On the other side, Sonakshi Sinha wants to be a fashion designer but faces reluctance due to her appearance. Double XL trailer has them both joining forces to emerge into a bigger power by supporting each other. Mahat Raghavendra and Zaheer Iqbal appear as the supporting characters.
The trailer also has some funny one-liners. The trailer ends with a joke on men who wants a bigger bra size but a small hip size, as Sonakshi asks what happens if the women too ask for big or small sizes in men!
Double XL is directed by Satramm Ramani and the movie is set for release on November 4, on the same day as Janhvi Kapoor’s Mili is releasing.
