While there are perks of being a kid of a star producer and a superstar actress, she has to earn something on her own. Though she is heard to be charging hefty paychecks for her performances in films, Janhvi Kapoor also earns big through brand endorsements, just from her social media posts.
In a recent interview with Galatta Plus, she opened up about the same. Revealing the fact that social media shouldn’t be taken too seriously, she admits that her ‘cute’ pictures might actually help her earn more money. ‘Hopefully, if I look cute and five extra people like my pictures, I’ll get another brand and I’ll be able to pay for my EMIs with more ease than I was before.’
Janhvi Kapoor revealed she has been advised to keep her social media image in sync with her onscreen characters although she does not want to create a ‘false narrative’. She said, ‘I have been told this a lot, ‘The kind of films that you are doing is of a certain beat and your social media presence is quite a contradiction to that. So, it will be harder for people to buy into those characters if they keep seeing you in this get-up’.’
It looks like Janhvi Kapoor has spilled more beans than ever during her promotions for Mili. Well, now can we assume that she could be earning six digits through her brand endorsements?
